This project is an initiative of the Alfa Cultural Institute whose aim is to democratize access to the theater bringing youth closer to the scenic arts and professions connected to the theatre. The participating youth come from low income families, study in public schools or are part of NGOs that use art as an instrument of social insertion. With 10 modules annually and around 1,200 youth that have participated since 2003, the project expands, each year, the activities offered to the participants. Each module consists of four workshops, in which the youth can experience the assembly process and the elements that make up the performance of a show. In addition, they watch the show Caixa Mágica, which shows the evolution of theatrical technique throughout time, and the dance, music, or theatrical show that is being performed at the time at Teatro Alfa.
